Who are Wakefield Care Association?
Wakefield Care Association is a not-for-profit organisation serving as the recognised representative body for independent, private, and VCSE adult social care providers across Wakefield. We provide a unified, strong voice and a supportive network for our members.
We prioritise building strong, collaborative relationships with key partners. By engaging in constructive and meaningful dialogue with stakeholders, we aim to inform and influence decision-makers within the care sector.
Our goal is to support and empower care providers to share and develop best practices, while offering opportunities for training and professional growth. Together, we strive to create a better social care and health experience for everyone – whether accessing services or working within the sector.
Members of the Care Association Alliance (CAA)
Wakefield Care Association are active members of the National Care Association Alliance (CAA), the alliance was established to enable local care associations to exchange best practice based on their experiences. It is a vehicle to highlight the challenges and issues faced by adult social care providers directly to the central decision makers such as the Department of Health and Social Care.
Members of the Yorkshire & The Humber Care Association Alliance (YHCAA)
Wakefield Care Association are active members of the Yorkshire & The Humber Care Association Alliance (YHCAA). YHCAA is a regional collaboration between multiple Care Associations across Yorkshire and the Humber Region; working together to create a voice for independent, private and VCSE adult social care providers.
